Convegno di Pedagogia del Bosco 2019

Percorsi, traguardi e prospettive della pedagogia del bosco oggi in Italia

Per il suo primo convegno, Pedagogia del Bosco | Ricerca e Formazione invita accompagnatori, educatori, insegnanti, ricercatori universitari e indipendenti, studenti, professionisti, artisti, videomakers, genitori e chiunque sia impegnato nell’ambito della Pedagogia del Bosco a presentare un contributo originale. Il tema proposto è ‘Percorsi, traguardi e prospettive della pedagogia del bosco oggi in Italia’. Il convegno si terrà  sabato 23 novembre 2019 alla Cascina del Parco Nord di Milano.

Presentazione degli abstracts

Si invita la presentazione di tre tipologie di contributi originali per il Convegno:

• Saggi sulle seguenti tematiche:

1. Formazione.
2. Gioco spontaneo e apprendimenti.
3. Comunicazione, immaginario, ricerca e pubblicazioni.
4. Il ruolo di accompagnatori e accompagnatrici.

• Poster scientifici sul macro-tema del Convegno ‘Percorsi, traguardi e prospettive della pedagogia del bosco oggi in Italia’. I poster saranno selezionati da Pedagogia del Bosco | Ricerca e Formazione sulla base di un abstract che specificherà nel titolo la modalità ‘poster’.
• Cortometraggi (max 5 min) sul macro-tema del Convegno ‘Percorsi, traguardi e prospettive della pedagogia del bosco oggi in Italia’. I corti saranno selezionati da Pedagogia del Bosco | Ricerca e Formazione sulla base di un abstract che specificherà nel titolo la modalità ‘video’ e includerà, nel casso il corto fosse già stato completato, il link su piattaforme come Vimeo e Youtube.

Gli abstracts dovranno essere di minimo 300 e massimo 400 parole e dovranno indicare il nome dell’autrice o autore, l’organizzazione di cui fa parte, il titolo e la tipologia del contributo presentato: saggio, poster o video. Ogni partecipante potrà presentare al massimo un abstract per ogni tipologia di contributo.

Scadenze

Gli abstracts dovranno essere inviati a convegnopdb@gmail.com entro e non oltre il 15/07/2019.  Gli abstracts pervenuti saranno selezionati da Pedagogia del Bosco | Ricerca e Formazione  in collaborazione con AREA Parchi Lombardia. L’accettazione del contributo sarà comunicata via mail agli autori entro il 31/07/2019. L’elenco dei contributi e gli abstracts saranno pubblicati nel programma online dopo la comunicazione di accettazione.

Dal programma definitivo verranno eliminati i contenuti di quelle autrici e quegli autori che non avranno versato la quota di iscrizione e inviato il loro contributo entro il 15/10/2019.

La tariffa ridotta, per tutti coloro che verseranno la quota di iscrizione entro il 20/08/2019, è di 50,00 Euro.

First Italian Conference on Forest Pedagogy

Paths, goals, and prospects of Forest Pedagogy in today’s Italy

Pedagogia del Bosco | Ricerca e Formazione (Forest Pedagogy | Research and Trainings) dedicates its first conference to discuss ‘Paths, goals, and prospects of Forest Pedagogy in today’s Italy’.

We welcome forest operators, educators, teachers, students, academic and independent researchers, professionals, artists, videomakers, parents, and anyone intereseted in the field of Forest Pedagogy to participate in the conference.

The conference will take place in the city of Milan at Parco Nord on Saturday 23^rd  of November 2019.

Theme

Within the wide framework of outdoor and nature education, Forest Pedagogy promotes a specific conception of infancy and learning, that sees wilderness as an ideal environment to support children’s self-directed learning. This pedagogical approach emerged in Denmark in the 1950s and, since the 1990s, has expanded to many parts of the world – with interesting experiences in Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, Brasil and various European countries.

In Italy, Forest Pedagogy has recently spread in reaction to a strong need for change felt by parents, educators and teachers unsatisfied with traditional education. As a result, diversified experiences have emerged, developed by a variety of subjects (such as nurseries, associations, public and state pre-schools and primary schools), in different environments (from forests to beaches passing through urban parks), and with multiple reference models (the Danish Skovbørnehave, the English Forest Schools, and the German Waldkindergartens).

This heterogeneity, together with the short history of Forest Pedagogy in Italy, point to the relevance of opening a critical dialogue on the theories and practices supporting this pedagogical approach in the specific Italian context. The conference aims at bringing into focus the identity that Forest Pedagogy is acquiring today in Italy, in order to give value to its facets, celebrate its achievements, identify criticalities, anticipate difficulties, open to new challenges and set future goals.

Objectives

The conference aspires to become an annual appointment for dialogue, trainings and updatings on Forest Pedagogy – an occasion to share theories and practices at the national and international levels. There are several options to praticipate in the conference: presenting an original contribution, moderating sessions, attending without presenting. Participants will have several opportunities:

• Acquiring tools to plan, manage and advocate for educational projects inspired by Forest Pedagogy;
• Getting trainings as Forest operators;
• Being exposed to up-to-date research in the field of Forest Pedagogy;
• Networking with other educational projects inspired by Forest Pedagogy in Italy;
• Entering a dialogue with some of the protagonists of the movement of Forest Pedagogy in Italy and Europe.

Abstract submission

We invite three types of original contributions for the conference

• Papers on the following topics:
  • Training;
  • Spontaneous play and learning;
  • Communication, imaginary, research and publications;
  • The role of forest operators.
• Scientific posters on the conference’s main theme: ‘Paths, goals, and prospects of Forest Pedagogy in today’s Italy’
• Short films on the conference’s main theme: ‘Paths, goals, and prospects of Forest Pedagogy in today’s Italy’

Abstracts for contributions (400 words maximum)  will be selected by Forest Pedagogy | Research and Trainings in collaboration with AREA Parchi Lombardia.

Please, mention your name, organization (if any), title and the type of contribution presented: paper, scientific poster, or short film. In the case of short films, the abstract can include the video link to platforms such as Youtube or Vimeo.

Each participants can presents one abstract maximum for each type of contribution.

Deadlines

Abstract can be sent to convegnopdb@gmail.com until  Sunday 30^th of June 2019.

By Wednesday 31^st of July  Forest Pedagogy | Research and Trainings will let you know whether your abstract has been accepted.

Accepted contributions will be inserted in the final programme due to the payment of the conference fee until Tueasday 15^th of October 2019.
